About Caterina

Born and raised in North London, I have worked as an English teacher and writing specialist for nine years in the UK, Italy, and in Canada.

I have a BA in English literature from the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK), and an MA in English literature and creative writing from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada). I have taught English as a second language, English literature, creative writing, as well as drama, art, and sports. My students have ranged from people as young as five to those in their 60s. I have worked as a writing specialist, an editor (working one-on-one and delivering workshops) and as a tutor.

I am also a playwright, screenwriter and published author. My work has been published in Soliloquies, Headlight, and Matrix Magazine and I have a TV show in development. In 2019, I was awarded the Edinburgh TV Festival's Stage to Screen Award.

I have an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
